We will prepare you for the audit of biofuel sustainability criteria, the so-called pre-audit.
We will develop a quality management system and company documentation for you, which is needed to properly meet the certification requirements of biofuels (biogas, biomethane).

Biofuels (such as biomethane) must demonstrate compliance with sustainability criteria. Each link in the supply chain must be certified by one of the systems approved by the European Commission - for example KZR INiG. The aim is to confirm compliance with the sustainability criteria and to confirm compliance with legal requirements in accordance with the RED I / RED II directive for the production of biofuels and liquid bio-ingredients.

Verification of sustainability criteria makes it possible to calculate greenhouse gas emissions related to the production of bio-ingredients / biofuels at each stage of their life cycle.

The certificate is granted for a period of one year.

Our auditors are ISO 9001 - IRCA Lead Auditor and KZR INiG Auditor.

Biogas, sewage sludge gas or landfill gas contain about 59% methane (CH4), 40% carbon dioxide (CO2) and 1% other gases.

Biodegradable municipal waste, waste and by-products from agriculture and food or biomass are used for biogas production.

Biogas produced from municipal waste, manure and slurry has the highest savings in greenhouse gas emissions.

Biogas is used for the production of biomethane or for the combined production of electricity and heat
in the cogeneration unit.

Biomethane contains more than 95% methane and is produced by so-called upgrading from biogas or sludge gas. Due to its interchangeability with fossil natural gas, it is often referred to as renewable natural gas (RNG).

Biomethane is used in transport as a substitute for fossil fuels in compressed form Bio-CNG, or as liquefied Bio-LNG, which is internationally known as LBG (liquid bio gas). Biomethane also replaces fossil fuels in the heating industry and is used in gas boilers and cogeneration units.
